P&G Geohazard Solutions successfully executed a specialized erosion control project at the iconic Tehri Dam in Uttarakhand using Concrete Canvas, a flexible, cement-impregnated fabric that hardens on hydration to form a thin, durable concrete layer. The objective was to protect the toe of the slope from continuous erosion caused by water flow and environmental exposure, which posed a risk to long-term slope stability.
The use of Concrete Canvas provided a fast, efficient, and low-maintenance solution ideal for the remote and geologically sensitive area. Its ability to conform to existing slope contours allowed for easy installation while minimizing environmental impact. This project showcases P&G’s capability to deploy modern and adaptive technologies for critical infrastructure protection.
