Flexible Debris Flow Barriers are made out of

narrow channel debris flow barrier with or
without posts. During an event the flexible
barrier absorbs and dissipates the energy of
the moving debris allowing water to pass
through while trapping and containing the
rocks, soil and other large materials.
P&G can supply Debris Flow Barrier for a
maximum pressure of 282 kPa and to resist an
impact energy of 5371 KJ.
These are engineered structures designed to
prevent or reduce the impact of landslides that
occur near the surface, typically involving thin
layers of soil & debris. These barriers are
strategically placed on slopes where shallow
landslides are likely to occur, acting as physical
barriers to intercept and contain the sliding
material before it can reach vulnerable areas
such as roads, buildings, or other infrastructure.
