Project Brief
Providing Rockfal Protection and Slope Mitigation Measures for Tunnel Portal T14 (P2) and T15 (P1) in connection with construction of USBRL Project (J&K)
The slopes above Tunnel T14 & T15 are prone to landslides & rockfall which need to be protected as this may endanger the bridge connecting the tunnels and also the passing rail traffic. P&G was involved during the detail design and also for the vetting of design and drawings from RITES Ltd. which is the DDC for this project. The proposed protection system includes high tensile rope net system & self-drilling anchors of different depths (13m,12m,10m,3m) along with Perforated PVC pipes. 50m rockfall barrier of 2000 KJ will be installed at both the tunnel portals
